LEGO® Powered Up and Robotics - Orange STEM Education 
Learn Technic building skills, engineering principles, teamwork and organization.  Hands-on projects bring machines to life using motors and gears. Introduction to building LEGO SPIKE Prime machines.

LEGO® STEM Adventures - Virtual - Orange STEM Education    
Build real and virtual LEGO projects at home using the new LEGO Technic set provided and your computer. Learn LEGO building techniques as you construct several mechanical Technic projects. Develop your own Technic project. Learn to use LEGO Studio 2.0, a LEGO CAD program, as you build a variety of virtual engineering and architecture projects. Build a virtual LEGO Minecraft project. Create online instructions for your own Technic build. Render your virtual LEGO projects to look incredibly real. Virtually build a Mindstorms® EV3 or NXT robot. Learn to code and simulate robot sounds and movements online. Perform maze navigation as well as object and colour detection challenges. Learn about electronic concepts, components and circuits, and breadboard in a safe virtual environment.

You will need a PC or Mac, laptop or desktop computer (not a Chromebook) to run Studio 2.0 and connect to Zoom, and you will need to download and install Studio 2.0 prior to the first class. More information provided upon registration. Includes your own LEGO® Technic set - available for pickup before the start of camp.

LEGO® STEM Camps     
In partnership with Orange STEM Education, Ottawa's leader in LEGO education, this camp offers hands-on LEGO Engineering and Robotics projects created by Ian Dudley, "the LEGO guy" using the newest LEGO technologies including Powered Up and SPIKE Prime Robotics. Campers will share in Orange STEM's enthusiasm for engineering and creativity as they build unique LEGO machines and robots. 

Campers will work with a partner, learn LEGO Technic building skills and engineering principles along with teamwork and organization. Unique hands-on projects bring machines to life using gears and LEGO Powered Up motors.

Build LEGO machines and robots with motors and sensors with instructions from Orange STEM Education, Ottawa's leader in LEGO Engineering and Robotics for over twenty years.

LEGO® Mechanical Engineering & Robotics      Ages 9-13 (born 2012-2016) 

This STEM camp offers hands-on LEGO engineering and robotics projects based on the newest LEGO® technologies including Powered Up and SPIKE Prime. Projects and instructors are from Orange STEM Education, owned by Ian Dudley, Ottawa’s “LEGO® guy”. Learn LEGO® Technic building skills, engineering principles, teamwork and organization as well as strong and stable structures, gearing and drive systems. With a partner, build unique hands-on projects that bring machines to life using gears and LEGO® Powered Up motors, and build LEGO® SPIKE Prime projects with motors and sensors. A variety of camp games, activities with other campers in the afternoon and a  daily swim complete the week.
